Imperial Astral Force Ranks

Comissioned Officers

Commissioned officers are those whose authority derive from a commission by the Imperatrix herself. They hold a secondary degree, have graduated from a military academy, or have completed Officer Trainimg School . Commissioned officer rank codes begin with O.

Aerospace Pilot Ranks

Aerospace pilots are commissioned officers who follow a different rank system that more closely aligns with that of the Imperial Air Force. Their rank codes still begin with O amd are equivalent to similarly numbered O ranks.

Fleet Command Ranks

Fleet command ranks are so named because officers of these ranks command multiple large vessels.

Warrant Officers

Warrant officers are noncommissioned officers who through extensive experience earn a warrant from the Imperial Astral Service. While they are generally subordinate to all commissionwd officers, they hold "O" rank within their field of expertise. Warrant officer rank codes begin with W.

Enlisted Starmen

Enlisted starmen encompass all warfighters who have not recoeved a commisson or warrant. Their authority derrives solely from the chain of command. Enlisted rank codes begin with E.

Noncomissioned Officers

Noncommissioned officers (NCOs) are enlisted warfighters who have the duty amd responsibility to command other soldiers by virtue of their rank, which they have earned through experience and demonstration of sound judgement. Like the Imperial Marine Force, the Imperial Astral Force starts NCO ranks at E-4, rather than at E-3.
