Governance

Government Presence

Before the Death of King Noah

The king had absolute power over the kingdom of Daloria. Opposition towards the king was viewed as treason and was punishable by death. Those who opposed the king were silenced relatively quickly too. This struck fear into the hearts of his subjects. The general population hated the king and wished for him to be overthrown. The king would always mention that he was just following God's orders. Non-humans were shunned from society. Any non-humans seen by government officials or soldiers were to be killed on sight.

After the Death of King Noah

When the king was assassinated, he muttered that the gods would "clear the mess." No one really understand what he meant by that, until Jesus came down and told everyone that they only had two weeks left to live, before God brings down a flood to wipe out all living creatures. Jesus also said that there was nothing that they could do to save themselves. People panicked and the once absolute monarchy quickly devolved into anarchy. Religion started to emerge quickly, begging for God's forgiveness, but to no avail. Just like that religion came and went for a few days. After that people started to accept their fates and lived out their last two weeks however they wanted. When the non-humans heard the news, they immediately stormed Daloria. The humans of Daloria did not stand a chance against them.

Rule of Law

Before the Death of King Noah

King Noah had absolute control over his kingdom, but the law did not reach the borders and outsides of the kingdom as well due to its sheer size. The kingdom of Daloria covers almost an entire continent. The king has tried to send government officials, but every attempt has been unsuccessful. The closer to the capital of Daloria, the stricter and stronger the rule of law is. King Noah has successfully stopped all rebellions against him, however. If there is even a slight suspicion that someone is plotting against him, he will do everything in his power to squash it immediately, no matter the location. Thus, even the citizens who live on the edges of Daloria still fear King Noah. Noah made it very clear that his wrath has no limits. That is why the people on the edges of the kingdom still obey the law.

After the Death of King Noah

After King Noah died, the people of Daloria rejoiced. There were no more laws that could mean death and it meant freedom. Unfortunately, that was when Jesus showed up and basically took control of the kingdom. Jesus told everyone that God was in charge now and has commanded every to perish in two weeks. Jesus then told everyone that the way they want to live it out is up to them and that God did not care because he was wiping them all out anyway. After that, there were no laws or rules and the government became an anarchy.

Social Services

Before the Death of King Noah

King Noah was a very egotistical person. Everything had to be about himself. It got to the point where he had toys and dolls created in his image or something related to him. He had these toys and dolls sold in every shop throughout the kingdom. Not having them available for purchase could lead to the shop owner to be seized and thrown in jail. The citizens of Daloria quickly found a loophole and closed down their shops just to spite the king, but the king replaced the closed down shops with shops of his own run by people he trusted. This further increased animosity between King Noah and his subjects. Many people lost their work and money due to this.

After the Death of King Noah

After King Noah was killed, the citizens of Daloria quickly re-opened their shops again and threw out all the toys and dolls of King Noah. They tore down the shops established by King Noah and ran the owners of their respective towns. As soon as it seemed that they were in the clear, Jesus descended with a message from God claiming their lives in two weeks. After that, people started to ransack shops and steal, stooping to a state that was even worse than when King Noah was alive. It didn't take long for most shops to be completely destroyed or abandoned.
