Originally the base coin, of equal value with a loaf of brain or quarter-pound of grain. Now valued at the price of iron.
Shak-voA circle of pressed tin stamped on one side with a star and a crown on the other.
Originally worth around ten iron shak. Now the base coin equal in value to a pound of grain.
Shak-daA five-sided coin of silver, stamped with a moon on one side and a crown on the other.
Worth fifty shak-vo.
Shak-riA six-sides coin made of gold, stamped with a sun on one side and a likeness of the current king on the other.
Worth one hundred shak-da.
Shak-uraA circular coin of white gold, stamped with a crown on one side and a likeness of the king on the other. These coins are used only by the wealthiest of Glÿfen society.
Worth one hundred shak-ri.
