This year, I'm going to be moving into my new house in December, so I'm less optimistic that I will make my pledge, but I pledge to write 10,000 words of worldbuilding!

MY GOALS

This year has been absolutely crazy for me, and I've been completely unmotivated to write. My hope is that WorldEmber will help get me back into Writer Mode. To that end, here are a few things I've had in the back of my mind that I'm going to focus on:

create a content tree for my gods and make sure they're all formatted the same and fleshed out

flesh out the geographic intricacies of Etherea and The Empire of Kaer Thalion, my two major kingdoms (I definitely DON'T have the brain power to flesh out government and society right now)

revisit unfinished/incomplete Summer Camp 2021 prompts

This is my first discussion board, so I'm kind of winging it, but I figured WE is a good time to try it out. My approach this year is very loose, so suggestions from my followers (or others) are welcome and could be very helpful. Feel free to post if you have any questions about things in my world, or if there's something you'd like to see more/less of, or even if you have a prompt to suggest!

THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD

When I first started using World Anvil, I was looking for a place to database details from my manuscript so that I'd stop having to search through a mess of unorganized documents to find the color of a character's eyes or hair, or the name of that city famous for its wine. But of cours,e World Anvil offered so many amazing features that I got completely caught up in making articles for every little detail that I sort of lost sight of my original goal. To that end, WE2021 is going to be the last challenge I take part in until I complete what I first set out to do. If a challenge aligns with my manuscript work, I may go ahead and do it, but otherwise I need to re-focus myself on my book(s).
