One of the most iconic of these animals is the Firesilk worm whose silk is send to be unique in its resistance to fire. Some plants do grow and while rare a small amount of herbivores do live in the hostile lands and some animals are omnivorous in diet. Plants often adapt to the harsh environment by building up a tolerance to high temptuures like the local trees which are highly resistant to fire.

Natural Resources

The big resources are Scorchwood trees for there resistance to fire and Blackened Iron and metal known for being very good at storing heat.
For crops most of the plants are designed to live in volcanic soil and can grow with less sunlight compared to other crops like wheat
