Shoh

The Shoh (Zean: Shaper) is the highest title in Nata-Got artisan and engineeer hierarchy. After decades of study and exposure to sefia, they achieve an understaning of their subject material so complete, that they are able to manipulate it freely with bare hands.   Nata-Got are most known for their ability to weave sefia and its supernatural properties into materials. Only those who can document purity of their bloodline can join the various guilds the clan offers, and even those won't achieve much without talent and compounded Gift of the Spider. While the other two usually go hand in hand to a degree, some people find a way to elevate their craft to another level. Highest ranking Nata-Got smiths can make metal malleable while it's cold, reforging it with no flame. Similarly, there are those who can, using their bare hands, make gold and silver jewelry take filigree forms unachievable with the most precise tools. Possibly even more impressive, Shoh weavers are able to control microscopic threads seemingly at will, unraveling and reforming fabrics with the touch of their hand.   Those abilities are achieved only by those who already mastered their craft, and there is never more than a few in a generation. With the increasing craftsmanship, it is in Nata-Got nature to hide away in their workshops and limit contact with the outside world. The guilds usually need an administrative representation, which is not formed by the masters of the craft, though sometimes subtly steered from the shadows, catering to every need of the Shapers. To have one in the guild is an honor, though it's hard to force them to display their craft. In fact, some find it hard or unbecoming to put away the tools of their trade and to give up the process of creation.
