The Tribes of the Isles

The tabaxi of Mac Lir live in tribes, most of which are friendly to each other. Those tribes living on Meiri Isle are more nomadic, and are more prone to territorial disputes; the smaller island tribes are larger and more cohesive. Each island has a trade or industry that they share with the others but not with mainland Dabhogard. (The primary exports of Second Island, for example, are pearls, pearl jewelry, and lemons.) Tabaxi don’t like trade, and are mostly self-sufficient, but they are a known threat on the Saiwa Sea due to the roving pirate bands of Fourth Island.
