General Summary
With the city life behind them, the members of Shades of Blue continued into the Dayde Woodland. Signs of non-native creatures were all around the group as they ventured deeper into the forest.
Eventually the group came upon a young man being held up at knifepoint. Gavin Bolbec was assisting refugees with capturing wild game when a refugee named Bryce decided to take advantage of the situation and threaten the young man. The man was swiftly apprehended and taken to the settlement for justice. Gavin led Shades of Blue back to his village, which seemed to blend and take shape within the forest. His mother, Maria Boblec met with Hinto Honiahaka Otaktay Qaletaqa and discussed the pressing fog from the West, which has driven refugees out of their homes. After some deliberation, Blue agreed to allow passage through the woodland of the refugees under the protection of Maria and her people.
Artur Cromwell greeted the party at the refugee settlement when they brought Bryce to stand judgment. Recognizing the predicament Bryce had put them in, risking safe passage of hundreds away from the fog, Arthur passed judgment quickly, removing Bryce's weak hand.
The party continued to the west after spotting a goblin and canine scouting the camp. Reports that some scouts had made it into the woodland troubled Blue, and he sought to bring them down quickly. They tracked a group of goblins to a rocky outcropping and easily dispatched the foes. However, the fog pressed in from the west as the battle raged on. Soon, a great, armored being made purely of air entered the fray and battled the group. As the armor was shorn away, the wispy being of the creature below became more visible. Humanoid features could be made out in the swirling mist. As the party dispatched the creature and it retreated away, the fog receded with it.
