The Alliance

The Alliance is the formal name for a group of organisations around the world dedicated to protecting, rallying for, and negotiating the rights of Elven citizens. They are usually found working alongside Elven diplomats or rallying peacefully against Cleansed occupation, depending on their location. In locations more torn apart by the Uprising, the Alliance are found almost exclusively within Qealin settlements or, on occasion, government locations -- discussing and negotiating agreements and steps towards peace. In other locations more put-together and established, usually places where the vote was called and agreed upon, they are found both in the government and at street level depending on the level of influence they have. Street level Alliance are mostly involved with rallying, protesting and petitioning.

History

The Alliance were formed unofficially at the beginning of the Uprising. These were the people who actively advocated for and were supportive of an alliance between fae and humans, and were the primary voices in voting yes for fae/human negotiations. While some of these pro-fae groups split into The Rebellion later on, the Alliance were those who remained on the political and economic front lines: people whose skills and resources lay in negotiation, political advocacy, construction and the like. In some places devoid of Cleansed occupancy, the Alliance are the only pro-fae group which came around post-vote.
