The Iron Conclave

The Iron Conclave was founded by a unknown druid when the Grisenwood area was still young and Ironwood did not exsist yet. Legend has it that Ironwood bloomed in the material plane when an Archdruid tried to make a deal with the Fae to protect his trees from civilization. At the cost Ironwood was made and more sought after due to its defensive abilities.
After this deal the Iron conclave was formed in order to further protect and eventually manage those trees. In time the conclave became more relaxed with outsiders and more welcoming of any Fae that managed to find their way to the Grisenwoods.

Structure

The Archdruid has the final say on any political matters involving the protection and preservation of Whistlewood and the Ironwood. Excluding that most decesions are made by more experienced druids.

Culture

Most of the citizens respect the Grisenwood forest and do their best to not take more then they need. Even going far enough to prevent outsiders from harvesting more then they need.

Demography and Population

Most of the population is made of humans, elves, and Fae denizens. The population rivals even some of the larger cities due to the abundant resources and careful planning by the Iron Conclave.

Territories

The territory under the Iron Conclave is the Grisenwood area. Their power and resources are mostly pulled into the Whistlegrove settlement at the heart of the forrest.

Military

While Whistlegrove is not the most skilled military force or largest. They make up for it by being the most defensive. They are able to more easily arm their guards and soldiers with quality weapons than others. In dire times they can even call upon the very woods themselves and borrow troops from the Fae.

Technological Level

They are the leaders in the crafting of Ironwood as it has been passed down by generations and crafters are vowed to secrecy on the techniques.
