Taraxacum Egoistica
Some people talk to their plants. Some plants... talk back.
Ask any of these bright yellow dandelion-like plants about the meaning of life, universe and the importance of it all, and you'll get an hours long monologue about their day. To these small little members of Asteraceae, nothing is as important as the state of their bloom, leaves and how better are they at evereything than most plants, and most walkers even (which is what they call everyone who can move around), thank you for asking.
They are most commonly used at magical dwellings as an alternative to guard dogs and alarms. They are a great source of gossip due to their immense talkativness and you can even teach some to do basic hexes to deter anyone who would like to bother you. It is best to grow one yourself from a little seed to create a solid bond between you and the plant so her verbal powers do not turn against you.
Also, never call them narcissist. They hate those yellow guys.
