Huge Serpent Escapes From Khazigur Municipal Zoo

Dateline: Khazigur Municipal Zoo, Revels District West; 26 Typhoneth's month, 12089: Reports continue to come in regarding the evident escape of a massive Giant Constrictor Snake in the Reptile House at Khazigur City Zoo today. Multiple witnesses reported sighting the creature making its escape through the thick glass partition and into the viewing area, from which it made a quick escape outdoors, pursued by Zoo security. The City Game Warden was called out to assist in the recapture of the beast.
Citizens are advised that the snake, though not docile, is used to being fed by humanoids and may seek to approach in the hopes of getting a meal, not in attacking. The snake is a wild animal but every effort is being made to recapture the creature without injury.
A late report suggests that the creature may have gone down the storm sewer service entrance in the floor of the viewing room; the manhole cover was shown to be unlatched.
Rumors that the snake may have been an Ophitic Deity appear to be mere exaggerations. A count of the animals in the Reptile House suggests that all the snakes are accounted for, but the number of correlating accounts suggests that the counts were incorrect to begin with.
Any sightings of a giant serpent should be reported to the Varangian home guard or your local township militia immediately.
