Ássakhlut | Place of akhluts | There are several sea-level caves that are a favourite denning spot for akhluts. |
Charádat | Charoite's home | The easternmost island. Named after the purple mineral that can be found throughout the island |
Cokion | City of the peaks | The westmost inhabited island, there are quite a few temples and forts. |
Fornaarn | Ancient acorn | There is a very large oak tree on the island. The tree gives acorns, regardless of the cold weather |
Izzak | Hard, rugged island | A small homely island where everyone is very nice; the joke goes that even the animals are nicer there than in other places |
Kerlina | Old woman | The longest inhabited island in Davsolu (but not the one which was first settled) |
Luppalloj | Island of little lakes | A large island dedicated to fishing both inland and on the sea |
Nefolnos | Nostrils on a nose | One of the few islands to have two cities on it. It has the shape of a nose and its nostrils (each nostril is the entrance to one of the cities) |
Oovasolu | Ninth island | It has the most famous school in the region. Thanks to it they receive a lot more visitors from the other islands than is common in Davsolu. |
Samoca | Water enclave | The northernmost island. It is famous for its frozen waterfalls, which sometimes don't even fully thaw during summer |
Sigrafera | Overcome perils | The newest/latest inhabited island |
Vikilik | Great Bay | A crescent-shaped island. They have the best cheeses of all Davsolu. |
Vuotnaivi | Rounded mountain which births the fjord | A large island with a lot of serviceable land. There is a fjord that divides the island in half |
Yrjhata | Damage the rocks | It was settled by a group of dwarves bent on reaching the origin of the rock and stopping its growth once and for all. It has extensive caverns and tunnels running underneath its surface |
Zatekynas | Kynas' place | One of the islands furthest to the south and with the nicest weather. It contains "natural" lighthouses (areas of rock that were allowed to get taller, then carved). It has plenty of coves which are only accessible by boat |
