Abyss Wolves

The Abyss Wolf seems to be a mutation of the average wolf, but no real research has been done to discover their true ancestry. It is believed by some that Abyss Wolves came from the Abyss itself, as they only seem to occur in history after the Split, but this claim is not very valid as most people do not think that anything exists under the Abyss.

Anatomy

The Abyss Wolf looks very similar to a normal wolf, but its back is arched up very high. Also, its color is a purple-gray color.

Ecology and Habitats

They find their homes in dark caves and can go two months without ever seeing the light of day.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They come out at night to hunt. Typically, they eat wild sheep and small rodents, but occasionally packs will attack herds of sheep or cattle. An entire pack of Abyss Wolves can survive on very little food as only one wolf leaves the cave per week to get food. It is assumed that they feast on mushrooms and small plants that grow within caves, but it is ultimately unknown.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Very few can be found on Crystal Island, but they mostly live in caves in Trekonila.
