The Blazoned Kingdom
Before the Death of the Opposed and the cataclysm it brought, the Blazoned Kingdom was equal and allied to The Enlightened Empire . Two great nations of Plainsmen standing together against all who opposed them; King and Emperor keeping close relations.
But the cataclysm hit hard on the Kingdom. A mountain fell from the sky on the coastal capital, burying it and creating a sea around it. As the Emperor lost influence over Imperial politics, the Empire and the Kingdom became rivals instead of friends. At first merely competitive, but when it was clear the Blazoned Kingdom hadn't recovered its strength as fast, the Empire began its conquest.
There has been rebellion and intrigue. Even a short-lived success. But currently the Blazoned Kingdom stands as one of the provinces in the The Enlightened Empire .
