Banded Mail ^PF1
Banded mail is made up of overlapping strips of metal, fastened to a sturdy backing of leather and chain. The size of the metal plates, interconnected metal bands, and layers of underlying armor make it a more significant defense than similar armors, like scale mail or splint mail
Breastplate ^PF1
A breastplate protects a wearer’s torso with a single piece of sculpted metal, similar to the core piece of a suit of full plate. Despite its sturdiness, its inflexibility and open back make it inferior to complete suits of metal armor, but still an improvement over most non-metal armors.
Chain Mail ^PF1
Unlike a chain shirt, which covers only the chest, chainmail protects the wearer with a complete mesh of chain links that cover the torso and arms, and extends below the waist. Multiple interconnected pieces offer additional protection over vital areas. The suit includes gauntlets.

Covering the torso, this shirt is made up of thousands of interlocking metal rings.

Reinforced Clothing ^CODHL
Thick leather jackets and pants can help turn aside knives or soak up a little of a gunshot's force.
Sports Gear ^CODHL
Cheap and easily obtainable, sports gear is designed to protect players from harsh impacts. Because players must remain mobile, sports equipment is designed to be the least cumbersome possible.
Kevlar Vest ^CODHL
A vest capable of stopping bullets with interwoven plates of Kevlar. Does not protect the head or face.
Flak Jacket ^CODHL
The listing below describes modern flak jackets with true bulletproof protection. Original flak jackets were ultimately ineffective at stopping bullets and have become outmoded.
Full Riot Gear ^CODHL
Full riot gear offers the ultimate in protection. Soft, flexible Kevlar plating repels bullets and protects all extremities. Riot gear sometimes comes with large bulletproof shields, which function is large shields except that they have a ballistic armor rating of 2 (which stacks with the armor's ratings).
Bomb Suit ^CODHL
These tremendously bulky suits made of Kevlar are made to protect wearers from explosions, but also work well against rifle rounds. They can absorb a single explosion before degrading to half protection value, but work exceedingly well at saving the wearer's life.
Leather Armor ^CODHL
Leather armor consists of hardened leather shirts and leggings. It provides good protection against blunt attacks.
Lorica Segmentata ^CODHL
This armor consists of segmented metal plates, made famous by Roman legionaries. The vampires of the Lancea et Sanctum still fashions and wears this armor in their ceremonies and sometimes into battle.
Chainmail ^CODHL
Fashioned of interlocking metal rings, chainmail protects the wearer's torso better than leather armor. A full suit of chain mail can protect the entire body at an additional cost of one dot.
Plate Mail ^CODHL
Plate mail is heavy and cumbersome, consisting of thick metal armor fitted to the body. It protects the wearer to a great degree (rivaling that of modern armor), but also slows her down. It's quite ostentatious, but sometimes creatures of inhuman age and tastes will favor it over more practical armor.
