70 years ago, the Trinity Test was the first nuclear detonation on earth. Within two decades, the effect it had on the human genome was obvious. For the past half-century it has been common knowledge that roughly one in ten people have what are referred to in polite society as metanatural abilities. At the ends of the political spectrum, however, are people who reclaim a word and the people they're reclaiming it from. These people call them superpowers.
