Federation GT-85

A modern SSTO shuttle meant for quickly ferrying troops between the ground and larger ships in orbit. Its weapons systems are high-tech, but are meant for point defense and light ground attack, and the ship is neither fast and maneuverable enough to be an atmospheric fighter nor powerful enough to be an effective strike craft. The ship is ineffective in direct combat and quickly burns through fuel, but is quickly becoming the most common transport in the Federal arsenal due to its reliability, ease of maintenance, and high capacity.
