Covenbreak

The name of this world died with its last city. Centuries of war and magic left unchecked brought with it pain and cataclysm. The world regained peace and quiet and with it, returned nature to civilized lands, now abandoned. The few who lived were scattered, but kept their grudges, their animosity. And so, new armies rose from the steady supply of animals nature provided. But this wasn't meant to be, for nature would not permit a second injustice of this caliber.   The age of Discord is over.   Covenbreak is a post-post apocalyptic fantasy setting where the spotlight is on societies of awakened animals, which no longer serve under the mages and witches of this world. Separated from their freedom, they are building new societies and finding meaning in what it means to be "alive". The world is a dangerous place for many reasons, masters being only one of the most ancient threats, but far from the only one in a world where nature has been regaining control.
