Cothal

Cothal is a world ladened with magic and wonder. The universe answers no questions and asks many. The inhabitants of Cothal find it in themselves to explore the unknown, often never to return. Cothal is a harsh world of many wild dangers, the only respite adventurers have is behind the walls of cities, surrounded by people just like them. Yet despite the danger, civilizations thrive.   From the rugged adventurers of Leohetara's mountains; the elven woods of Ioelcar; the halflings of Glatia and Glot; the nation of humans in the Xaferan Hills; or the Tierarian harbors; or the brooding dead of Eshdell; or the great nation of Salria; the creatures of Cothal survive despite the dangers of the wild and the demons of the night. Many scholars explore the unknown in search of clues of nations past, in ancient ruins and buried kingdoms. The world has found but one solution to satiate their curiosity...Adventuring Guilds!   Every civilization in Cothal has somehow managed to adopt societies reliant on guilds. Be it Adventuring Guilds, Merchant Guilds, Mercenary Guilds, or what have you. To get far in this world, one should consider their goals and which guild they could join to meet them.
