Rare Metals and Rare Resources

Metals

Armanium - A strong magical metal found in Armeren, only seen in Calmireth through trade. Has properties that regenerate the weapon or tool made out of it.
  • (18 AC no disadvantage on stealth, +1 to hit)
Glass - This world's version of Mitheral, is light yet extremely strong. Is mostly used for Building and armor in the Glass Empire (named after this metal, on the continent of Galan). Mostly mined from dwarven slaves in the Glass Mountains in Galan.
  • (17 AC no disadvantage on stealth, +2 to hit)
Cold Steel - Found in northern Calmireth, it is similar to regular steel, except it is stronger and always seems to be extremely cold on touch
  • (never armor, +3 to hit and 1d6 of cold damage added)
Phenixalicus - Found in the Baron Mountains Phenixalicus is a strong metal and seems to be the opposite of cold steel. The properties seem to give off a magical burn as if the metal is solid fire. This is very popular in the noble armies of firelight.
  • (never armor, +3 to hit and 1d6 of fire damage added)
Black Silver - Used to craft strong weapons and armor, mostly found and traded from Breven. The weapons made from the material never rust or dull. Rumored to be made from highly skilled enchanters and blacksmiths, though no new Black Silver armor or weaponry has been made in ages.
  • (15 + dex AC, no stealth disadvantage, +3 to hit)
Cosmolite - An extremely rare metal fallen from the sky throughout Cos. An extremely rare metal only a few pieces of armor and weapons have ever been made in history from it. From the heating and cooling of the stars and sun this metal has insane properties of strength, yet weightlessness. The color is greyish purple and very reflective.
  • (22 AC, +5 to hit 1d8 Force damage)
  • (Weapons have advantage on Empyriate, double damage on Empyriate(maybe?))
  • (Weapons have disadvantage on Azmordium armor)
Empyriate - One of the rarest metals in existence only ever to be found in Empyria the plane of the Divines, gods of humanity. It is said to always glisten and radiates a soft light. Empyriate is used for the Divines weapons and armor being forged by their legendary divine blacksmiths. No known mortal has ever wielded an Empyriate weapon or worn Empyriate armor that is known. The metal has only been discovered by the deceased discussing it and mortals having visions of the Divines wearing it.
  • (22 AC, +5 to hit 1d8 radiant damage)
  • (Weapons have advantage on Azmordium, double damage on Azmoridum(maybe?))
  • (Weapons have disadvantage on Cosmolite armor)
Azmordium - The metal of the Revenants, the lower plane gods. Azmordium is mined deep within their plane of Azmordia near never-ending lava plumes and great rare gems. It is rumored that Azmoridum is the solidified organic matter from the defeated old gods before the current gods slew them and rose to power. Only horrible yet famous warriors, magic caster, and rogues have wielded and worn Azmoridum, but mostly only the Revenants themselves mine and forge out of this material. Azmoridum seems to suck the life out of any room that it enters, leaving a dark vibe behind it. It is dark red to black, the metal itself always seems to be moving within the casted pieces, as if it is full of souls moving within it.
  • (22 AC, +5 to hit 1d8 necrotic damage)
  • (Weapons have advantage on Cosmolite, double damage on Cosmolite(maybe?))
  • (Weapons have disadvantage on Empyriate armor)

Resources

Shadow Leather - Harvested from strange cattle in the Everdark this material can make the wearer disappear almost instantly. When moving the leather looks to have a dark mist breathing from the material making the user look like a shadow. (14 + dex AC, advantage on all stealth rolls, once per day can turn fully invisible for up to an hour unless hit or the user's hits)   Mortal Stone - Similar to coal, except seems to last forever when burned. Was given the name because it was believed to be the remains of an old Mortal race that died thousands of years ago.   Lordstones - A magical Gem found only in Lordium in Galan. This gem when crushed if the uses focus on a location they have been to before they will teleport to that location.
