The Wanderer's Rest

The Wanderer's Rest looks like a light wind would be likely to knock it over. The slat sides showing large gaps where the boards do not meet. The door is half hanging off the hinges. The broken windows are covered with rags and paper.
This seedy inn is best known for being a gambling spot. Rumour has it is also the headquarters for the local thieves' guild. It is located on the seedier side of Caer Vonterng. The inn looks to have seen better days on the outside. Inside, however, it maintains a thick veneer of the ostenatious.   Inside the walls, door, and windows appear whole and in good repair. A thick miasma of smoke fills the room from the pipes being smoked by the patrons. You can find many forms of gambling from cards to dice. The bar stands to left of the main door. On either side of the fireplace are two doors, one leading to the kitchen and the other to a private room. A bard sits on a raised stage playing lively music for the patrons.   The smells of spilled alcohol mixing with the pipe smoke are enough to turn the stomach of any who are unprepared, or unaccustomed to it.
