Caer Vonterng
Caer Vonterng is the Capital city of the Kingdom of Bunadh. It is known for its embassies and the Dancing Unicorn has become a major draw for the locals and villagers from the neighbouring farming communities. Though the cost for a single night is high the Prancing Pony is an affordable establishment.
Within the city are various jewelers, tailors, and perveyors of fine art. Some of the restaurants and cafes offer exotic meals and beverages. The entertainment district contains museums, theatres, and a large opera house.
The opera house and theatre are considered to be vulgar by many of the citizens since it is also the headquarters of the Bardic Guild. Many would be actors are turned away because they do not have any training in the Bardic Arts. The Bardic Guild has annual auditions for those who wish to learn the Bardic Arts. They usually only offer three or four scholarships each year. It is possible to purchase an apprenticeship, the fees are in accordance to the complexity and style of instrument chosen. Once an apprentice has achieved the second tier they are required to spend at least one year on the road. This is so they can travel to other towns and gather different styles of music and in search of lost songs.
The Castle is where most warriors go to train. The ranges and lists are legendary though they are considered to be old fashioned with rifles and muskets being the weapon of choice currently.
Guilds and Factions
Somewhere in the city is the headquarters for the thieve's guild. The thieve's guild is allowed to operate within the city as it is known about and taxed heavily. The leader of the guild is unknown however there are representatives sent to the King with the taxes.
