With humans rapidly advancing into the Faster Than Light era, it is uncovered that they are far from alone in the galaxy. As the first colony ships have already been dispatched, supply lines charted, and politics sorted, the status quo is thrown into chaos as humanity is given a new survival directive from their discoveries: shut up. Every FTL jump lights up space like a firework in an abandoned city, and past civilizations had apparently paid the price to an unknown enemy. With humanity now a central fungus spreading its spores far and wide in a desperate attempt to continue its legacy, the binary star system of Aristarchus is discovered. Within it, a world identified as a colonization candidate, autonomously terraformed, and finally, a troubled colony fleet dispatched. Nations would form on this new world, along with alliances, nation-states, and inevitable rivalries.
