"Well, if the sides are taking anyone who fancies themselves a hero or some kind of soldier, who is still around to work in the fields? The forests? The mines? And how do people put food on the table? Everyone knows idle hands bring trouble, but so do hands with too much.

Felkhath is a prominent region known being a bread basket. When the Arle, Nunciel Great-Cook, refused to side with Capitolist Faction or Ostufer's Faction in the Thydian Civil War, there was a time of peace where the Arling.

The peace has been maintained, officially. However raids have been made along the borders between Felkhath and Capitolist-aligned Arlings, and some areas near Ostufer-aligned Arlings.

It appears, Captain, the bandits and raiders are to test us. Or to wear us down for an invasion. They dress like bandits, but some of their weapons are marked as the militaries of Arlings belonging to the Capitolist or Ostufer factions, but the two never intermix.
