Constellaum

Constellaum, the island of endless constellations, is located in the Somnium Sea, the sea of dreams. This island contains a fairly advanced elven civilization. The island has luscious forests and is adorned with mountains. Strange creatures live in these areas. The sea is very dense with salt, so many can take a nap just floating on the water there. The high salt content can lead to strange looking creatures due to evolution.   Constellaum was originally home to 4 elven kingdoms, Solar to the North, Dusk to the East, Lunar to the South, and Dawn to the West. All 4 were connected by the city in the middle, Aerus (presently used as a meeting place for officials), and were united allies. Lunar and Solar had better technology and were bigger. Magic users were rare. Dusk and Dawn had more magic users, and their magic types were more rare and powerful. Solar and Lunar decided to expand their empires in alliance, and by waging war on the Dusk and Dawn kingdoms. Solar and Lunar won using their advanced tech (gas bombs, nullifiers, also brute force). Solar took control of Dusk and Lunar took control of Dawn. Many Dawn and Dusk civilians and officials were killed during the war, very few left. There are special reservations for the survivors of the war from the Dusk or Dawn Kingdoms. Many survivors hide their identities however, for reasons unknown.   These elves are capable of using magic (any type really). Once setting of their first spark or magic, an elf will receive a tattoo, called a "Mark," either located on their cheeks or on their collar area (Cheek for Solar and Lunar, collar area for Dusk and Dawn. There are some exceptions to this rule.) to show that they are a magic user. Marks can vary in color, shape, and size.In Solar and Lunar, most magic users have been given high ranking positions.   Most travel by horse or pegasi/unicorn (if they can afford them). The rich go by carriage.   RULES- No use of magic that can hurt someone/damage property unless under certain circumstances // King and Queen pass their thrown to their first-born when they are 50 // If both have died before this age, their child is to be throwned at age 20 // If no lover, some sort of arranged marriage is to be made to ensure the continuation of the royal bloodline // Crimes are met with its equivalent unless under certain circumstance (Ex- murder= you die, etc) // All members of military can draw their weapon when it is needed // Abuse of this can lead to punishment, and they will be discharged and humiliated for treason
