Grand Council of Conventum
The Grand Council of Conventum is the loose government of the Confederate States of Earth
Structure
The council consisting of representative of members, particularly the Major Six, the biggest of them. They operated at the Central Power Hall on the planet Conventum.
Culture
Many meeting each planets send their own representative to the main hall, not the physical one but using the projection of themselves from the homeplanet, passing though the specially encrpyted data channel of DSC. With the benefit of such technology, the physical meeting become so rare if not something that's emergency or president's prefer.
The meeting are usually for discussing some big issue in the confederation. During peacetime, It held every 12th May, the day the old earth defeated.
History
It's formed after the foundation war. It's the first president's desicion to choose the loosen confederation rather than tighten federation since not every colonies wanted to reformation but still wanted the benefit of their former government.
The council's first meeting occured on 12th May, 1 UCE, with the biggest one which is of course the Major Six, and for many thousand years to come, the council run smoothly without any dissolving.
Disbandment
It's the heated moment during one of the serious meeting when suddenly the current president at the time cut out the signal too early. The later investigation shown that the Earth's rapid climate change turned the whole planet into a inhospitable, assumably killing them all. It's the moment many considered the beginning of the civil war.
The Light Meeting
The main hall consist of hundred of seats in which empty for most of the days. as the set of hologram projector, the technology being develop later on, are installed in every seats. Since the planet member before the civil war are estimated 275, the seats are put in the shape of amphitheater, with the president seat in the center, who's the only physical person in the room.
