Fae King of the Wandering Woods and Moonlit Spirit of Change

The most powerful Fae spirit in the world, a watcher of forests, and protector of the ancient rites of nature. To hunt or cut wood, it is advised to acquire his permission, else you accidentally chop a tree that resides in his Wandering Woods. His Fae goblins wander out of the forests to slow the progress of civilization's spread, and he ultimately seeks to cull the banality out of it. He brings chaos and change wherever he goes, imbuing those who respect the forest with power and boons, and cursing or killing those who impede on his woods.
The Wandering Woods themselves are a magical phenomenon. Every night, the moon's light changes their location, along with every inhabitant within them, including Aegis himself.
The Fae he commands are powerful and whimsical, and tend to use transformation magic on both themselves and those they encounter. It's said that the mischevious Fae may be the reason for the differing appearances of the different races and species on the planet, and that Aegis may also have influence over sleep and dreams, as well.
