God of Light, Sun, and Glory

Solvicta (sol-VIC-ta) is a God of Duty and Honor as much as he is of Glory. Interestingly, The Twelve-Armed--as the God is sometimes known--is a competent fighter, though it is said that Ulo is one of, if not the only, God to have bested him in combat. This is said to be the reason for Ulokes being the God of War.
Solvicta is said to be a God of Glory, though it isn't always a glory on the battlefield. It would, in someways, be more accurate to say that he is a God of Legend, or a God of Heroics. Sometimes it is combat, other times it is creating something 'Perfect'. Other times still it is doing small things like giving to those in need when you have enough, unlike Yaora who expects her chosen to give even when they have nothing else to keep, which again is why he is not the God of Charity.
Light and Sun are the two easiest domains he has to explain. He is the God of all light, be it sunlight, candle light, or a fireplace. In some ways he is also a God of Fire, or at least said to be near fire at all times, though his brother Initar, The God of Knowledge is the actual God of Fire. Interestingly though, while he is good and enjoys humans, and the other races of the material realm, he is careful to not show his full glory to the world. The First Shadow is a god that is said to protect against the full glory of the sun. It is said that this is the reason that he hides his face at night, to allow those on the world to recover from his light.
Those that are exposed to his full glory for too long have been known to go blind, become sick, and grow masses across their body. Some of these plagues are known to be his way of smiting those that have displeased him, for those that have truly angered him, bursting into flames is not uncommon--for those without some other divine protection.
For his clerics, he asks much of them:

• Difficulty brings Glory, if it is challenging conquer it.
• Listen to those that have come before, they have climbed mountains and carved the paths you tread.
• What you do you do for others, for they may not have what they need.
• Keep what you need, for you may need to give more in the future.
• Be careful what you are willing to compromise, it is easier to leap down a stair than it is to walk those steps again.
