POTUS Delores Keaton's Address to the Nation on the Montana Massacre
"Good evening. We now go live to the President of the United States of America for an emergency broadcast."
"My fellow Americans," she says. The face of Delores Keaton , the President of the United States, smiles at the camera, her curly red/blonde hair perfect, her white teeth practically glistening, her makeup tasteful, her black blazer striking. She folds her hands. "Those of you on the east coast, sorry for coming on so late, but, well, this is important. And, anyway, if you aren't watching, odds are this'll be played back tomorrow, anyway."
"Recently, as some outlets have reported, an experimental troop transport, being developed by Microtel in Montana, was attacked and destroyed, along with the felicity where it was being built. Over two hundred men were killed in this blatant act of terrorism.
"The NSA has managed to identify the source of this terrorism, and it gives me no pleasure to say this, but the terrorist organization responsible is a white supremacist group known as the Valhalla Soldiers with branches across this beautiful country. And we can say with absolute certainty that this terrorist outfit is state-sponsored by the Russians and possibly the Canadians.
The screen cuts from the President to a surveillance photo -- it's a bit grainy and hard to make out, and it looks like it was taken from a security camera. It's in St. Petersburg, and it's outside The Onion House, a monastary in the city's core. Four men and one woman are standing on the sidewalk, talking to a pair of men attired in Russian FSB uniforms.
A few more shots come across the screen -- four men walking down the street of St. Petersburg with Tamisra Isabell along with some security footage evidently taken from the base in Montana and the streets of Seattle. And there's a shot of the same four men in Whitehorse, Yukon.
"We've identified these four men: Jaxon Huntsleigh, Carter Hirtle, a Doctor Tim , and a mercenary and solider of fortune named Fast. These men are incredibly dangerous, and should not, under any circumstances, be approached.
Photos of these four appear on the screen: driver's license photos, passport photos, twitter profile pictures, the works, alongside their names.
"Under my leadership, the Rewards for Justice list -- that list of the world's most wanted terrorists -- has never been smaller we've killed so many of them. But tonight, America, those four men are at the very top of the list. The Department of State is offering twenty-five million dollars for information that leads to the arrest or elimination of these threats to the very way of American life. And, any information that leads to the arrest or elimination of all four of these men doubles the pot -- 2 hundred million, tax-free dollars if you locate or, hell, kill these four men, who we believe to be hiding in the USA as we speak.
I can also tell you, as of right now," Keaton glances off screen, "The United States is declaring war on Russia, effective immediately. Shortly, all able-bodied men and women will be asked to report to their nearest enlistment office. I am in constant contact with our true allies in NATO, and many of those countries are joining us in responding to this state-sanctioned terrorism by Russia. We are at present evaluating our response with Canada and what role they had in the attacks.
Make no mistake, America, our way of life is under threat. This war with Russia will be the costliest, deadliest war in the history of mankind, yet, Vladimir Putin has forced our hand. I hope that he can see reason and surrender, but until such time, he, and any of his allies, be they Arab, Chinese, or whatever else, won't stand in our way of seeking out and meteing justce.
