Liberal-Democrats
The Liberal-Democrat party ("Lib-Dems") is a split from left-wing parties, founded in the 1980s in the UK.
The party saw its greatest success in the 2010 General Election, where it became the third-largest party. They formed a coalition government with the Conservative Party, with their leader, Nick Clegg, becoming deputy prime minister.
They were decimated in 2015 as the party backtracked on a number of promises. Annette Jones was one of the few MPs re-elected. She rallied support, and perhaps buoyed by the success of President Delores Keaton, led the party to a stunning victory in the 2016 General Election.
