Gerald Kish
Former Governor of Georgia Gerald Kish
Gerald Kish was in his late fifties, with an aggressive combover and sharp, pointed nose. He’s aggressive in his speech, and animated, a sort of Glenn Beck meets Antonin Scalia.

Personal history
Elected Governor of Georgia in the early 2000’s, he pursued promises contrary to those of the Presidents of the day. Anti-gay marriage, anti-abortion, and anti-minorities, he was nonetheless well liked in Georgia.
In 2014, Delores Keaton announced her intention to defeat him — a fellow Republican — as governor, and that it was preordained by God. He and pundits ridiculed her for this belief. In April of that year, a month before the primaries, Keaton released a tape which showed the Governor engaging in sex with three African-American prostitutes and using a variety of racist epithets. He denied it at first, then admitted and apologized for it, but he lost the primary by a wide margin.
Investigative journalists revealed his wife divorced him soon after.
Kish committed suicide on November 7, 2014, the day Keaton was declared Governor by a landslide victory of 74.8% to her contender’s 25.2%.
One county was found to have violated the civil rights act in restricting some from voting; this had no effect on the results.
