Episode 13: Into the Drug Den

General Summary

The team returned to their apartment hideout, only to have a gun drawn on them (Rudy specifically):
"I just want to talk.   "I know who you guys are… and I know the truth. I've been going through it -- everything. Everything about President Keaton, about that attack in Montana, hell, about that attack on a certain office building in Seattle. The battle-tanks, the wars, the never-ending cold. It's Ragnarok. It's the end of the world. By my reckoning, we're at the end of the beginning. We're nearing the end of everything, and you guys are being set up as patsies.   There's a group," he says, "of people who believe what I believe. And they're being hunted down by the CIA and the government. And that's what tipped it for me. If it wasn't real, if there wasn't a conspiracy at the absolute top levels of government, well, they wouldn't be hunting down bloggers and random people on the internet." He exhales.   "Tell me I’m nuts. Tell me I'm crazy, but I'm willing to bet two-hundred million dollars I'm right."
The man identified himself as Mr. Purple, a Special Agent with the FBI. His purview, he suggested, was the unknown, and he offered his help and as much as he could until the FBI caught on to him. He agreed to look into the drug, SANGUINE, as well as locating your whip, a Crown Vic which just so happens to be the only way for you to get back to Asgard without divine intervention.   The team went to their lead, a drug factory in the warehouse district, and proceeded to wage war on it, killing heavily-armed goon after heavily-armed goon, blowing open any wall that got in their way, until they came toe-to-toe to a battle-armor covered monster named Scrampus. After he nearly destroyed the party, the team was just able to best him. Slapping him into consciousness and then mesmerizing him, Jaxon got the clue the team needed:   Marcus.   Ransome Morales's son and Jaxon's brother, Marcus, was behind Camilla Morales's death and the vampire war on the streets.   That final clue in hand, the team returns to Ransome.
