Yungal Peninsula

The Yungal Peninsula is a heavily forested peninsula in the southeast of the Plainlands. It is heavily populated by many different trees and animals. The coastal regions of the Yungal Peninsula are subject to heavy monsoon flooding. The peninsula is home to both the ancestors of, and the very first of Humankind.

Geography

The terrain of the Yungal Peninsula is similar to that of the rest of the Plainlands, however erosion of the landbridge between Yungal and the main body of the Plainlands has resulted in the Yungal Peninsula becoming more and more surrounded by water over time.

Fauna & Flora

The constant erosion and flooding in Yungal results in very poor soils, encouraging a very diverse population of flora.
