The Eternal Empress
From its founding, rulers of the Eternal Empire asserted that they were mere regents serving at the will of Kyra, the Eternal Empress and Mother of the World. The mortal Emperors and Empresses believed that it was their role to expand the Empire until its wealth, power, and civilization were sufficiently advanced to provide a suitable earthly dominion for the True and Divine Empress. It was believed that when the time was right, the Empress and the rest of the gods would take up their rightful place at the head of the Empire, which under their leadership would grow to encompass the entire world, turning it into an enlightened paradise rivaling the celestial realms of the gods themselves.
Just under 1,000 years ago, the first part of the prophecy came true when Kyra (or more precisely, her earthly avatar) came to the Imperial Court, arriving from the heavens in a ball of mystical light likened to a shooting star. The rest of the gods followed (though most by less spectacular methods) and took their place in Kyra's court. Once the gods settled into the Imperial Court, the gods began working towards their goal of uniting the entire world under the banner of the Empire.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Kyra is capable of changing her appearance at will, but maintains a consistent form for her avatar unless she's actively hiding her identity. Like all gods, Kyra is much larger than mortal men, standing over 11' tall. Her general appearance is that of a woman of imperial lineage in her mid-30s with deep violet eyes and stark white hair that is usually worn long and straight. When not dressed for battle, she dresses in expensive clothes in the imperial fashion.
