Zeythid

Small voracious ferret like creatures with 6 legs with the front four able to function like arms and hands. They seem to be a melding of machine and beast, of mammal and insect, and have metallic wings that enable them to fly short distances. They are a plague across the Continent of Mysseria. They started to appear about 7 years ago and each year a new plague swarm appears out of the south-east. An individual is able to kill creatures 5 times their size. A swarm of them can kill almost anything. Unlike the Iron Spiders they ignore crops and other vegetation and are only interested in dismantling and collecting anything metal.
