Trildari
Large bulky sentient species who have small stubby heads and long necks. They have a hairless rough leathery skin, which perfectly suits the hot wastelands of the continent of Mysseria on the world of Imphalas that are their home. They have long thick legs and large hands which would make holding and manipulating small objects difficult, except they have long narrow claws on their hands. All Tridari are vegetarians.
Trildari have an affinity for mechanics and love to tinker with small Jholem they scavenge and trade. They tend to live in matriarchal bands where males are driven out when they reach adulthood as their testosterone can drive them into a dangerous violent frenzy during mating season. The females live up to 140 years but the males can live for up to 180 years. The females stop growing when they reach adulthood, often topping out at around 4 metres tall, but the males do not stop growing until they die, sometimes reaching sizes of up to 9 metres. As a male's size grows, their intelligence diminishes, until they are little more than animals, concerned only with territory, dominance and food. One of the most awe-inspiring and dangerous sights in Mysseria is a male Trildari goliath battling a giant War Jholem to the death, causing devastation all around them.
