The eldest of 4 children that washed up on the shores of Nidhol‌ 5 years ago after a great storm. Jizarrah‌ took them under her wing and they have a strong child-parent bond. Only Jizarrah knows about their shapeshifting abilities and she has drilled it into all of them to keep it a close secret. She can take many forms but her favourites are a dolphin or a cat.
When she meets Ceiko & Ashelin Daliesyn she becomes best friends with them and together the three become the core of the Crew of the Adamant. Once Ceiko and Ashelin know her secret, she starts to like to change her Humani appearance every so often.
Since Kephala age a bit slower than normal, she is the equivalent to a Humani 17 year old.
