A jovial and gossipy soldier with many scars from his previous campaigns. He was a soldier in the Witch-War but refuses to speak about it.
He offered to teach some swordsmanship to the House Daliesyn children, but Maigen declined, and Rowain Daliesyn lost interest after a month of no improvement. Ashelin occasionally joins in but is distracted. Baelon Daliesyn is the only one who has stuck with it, and he is regularly betting Rodric in a duel at this stage.
He is constantly flirting with Ruthie Orfell, the cook and often tries to tell exaggerated stories of his past exploits in an effort to impress her.
