As a child, his mother was executed for helping her lover in murder and he was to be sent to the workhouse. Kyunnai rescued him from that fate and adopted him. He is very protective of his other adopted siblings.
He grew up amongst the First Legion and is dedicated to it. He has an affinity with weapons and is gifted in his skill with a wide range of them. He is the best swordsman in the First Legion, an accomplished bowman, and a very dangerous unarmed fighter. Though he can be impulsive, he has a very strong work ethic.
