Melantha
Renegade Kephala who have been exiled from Moromu-Koki for their abnormal violent tendencies. The Melantha have been known to prey upon the surface peoples. They often appear at dusk or twilight as large cloaked figures in the city of Shosai'o, until they find someone alone, and they will snatch them and drown them before devouring them. If they can get away with it they will also snatch people from fishing boats. The Melantha are almost always solitary as they do not get along with other Kephala.
