The richest man in Avalais. He tries to pretend he is not Ophanim as he feels it will limit his ability to rise in society. He even took a non-Ophanim as his wife and had a half-blood (Mah'adri) daughter. He loves his "Mah'adri" daughter, Eliwen Balhalas and has spared no expense on her education. He is extremely proud of her and spoils her.
