Alache

An ancient being made up of a multitude of spiders, combining together to form the body of a beautiful woman. She is the last of her species, the Ananzje, after they were hunted to the brink of extinction by the Ehoshim before the Shattering of Aaru. She is currently imprisoned in Tantharos, the Citadel of Eternity, and has been there for thousands of years. One of the earliest prisoners and only the Nephulien have been imprisoned longer.
The prison cells in Tantharos prevent any time passing, so the prisoners are always in a state of stasis. Alache is the only one who has been able to ovecome that. She has cracked her cell just enough for her to create a tiny daughter spiderling, Zikka. This endeavor has killed her, though the magic of the cell is keeping her alive and stretching out her death.
