Circum Mortuis

Circum Mortuis (or "The Dead Circus") is a Bithua (liminal spaces between our dimension and the afterlife) location in Florida. Where exactly in Florida? No one is really sure. People have reported it from the Keys to Gainesville.

Demographics

2 residents are Strangers, 2 are Wendigo, 1 Mermaid, and 1 half-human-half-demon. The rest are human.

Government

The Owner runs the circus, however they are rarely seen and Cirque oversees the entire thing.

Defences

There is a layer of ancient Tâe magic that makes it expand the more wards they take in. It also keeps out those with ill intentions.

Industry & Trade

The acts get a cut of the tip money and game money every other day. Usually around $300 per person, but can get up to $600 per person on a lucrative day.

Infrastructure

Channels, a greenhouse, and two three story apartment buildings.

Assets

They have food and gasoline stores that last for months at a time.

History

Circum Mortuis was created c. 600 BC by The Owner.

Architecture

Reminiscent of a 60's circus, but pretty modernized.

Geography

The circus sits on a cleared field, while the living quarters (which are recently erected) sit in an uncleared field. The forest is forbidden to go into.

Natural Resources

The greenhouse has a vegetable section, where they grow their own fresh vegetables. They have their own well, and a gasoline generator.
