Session 6: Slytherins vs Gryffindors Report
General Summary
Our hero Gawain Wallace MacBeth and his boys Jacob Moore, Denzel Moore and Zeke Dunn went to the café, ordered some coffee (Gawain as black as his soul, haha) and snacks and sat down. They had to wait for a while, until a distintively dressed girl stepped into the establishment. She wore thick make up and seemed to embrace alternative clothing style, leaning towards gothic inspired grunge.
She came to sit to the same table and introduced herself as Paulette Winslow. She told the boys that she was worried for her friends who suddenly were totally into the potter wars: magical teenagers battling eachother and some 'normies' thinking it was just a viral internet challenge.
While they were sitting in the café, Gawain noticed a man who walked by who seemed to have a strange magical aura around them, but the man was gone quickly. He called Zeke out to go after the man and try to get a picture of him. Something odd happened, though, when the boy didn't return as soon he should have. The others went to investigate and found him standing in the middle of the street, in his eyes a blank, empty stare.
It became apparent that poor boy had been put under some spell and he had lost his phone. There was no sight of the man he had followed.
Despite this little setback they were able to concentrate on the task at hand nd decided to help Paulie with the problem. Her friends Lizzie Turner, Josie Whittaker and Ann McGregor had gotten involved with the Potter Wars internet challenge and she was worried for their safety, as they were only normies and she had noticed odd things -magic, mainly- happening in viral internet videos, and she knew that in case her friends would run into a real spellcaster who would want to hurt them badly, something needed to be done.
They took a metro to the other side of the city from St James Park to the Upminster park tube station. It was revealed that they had used to gather in the small park called Gaynes Parkway. Gawain went to investigate and encountered three girls: one who had dies just recently, other one who barely escaped and possibly the perpetraror who seemed to be slightly out of it, whom Gawain ended up battling against.
Just as she had tangled her with a web and called some reinforcements, a young man happened on the scene. He wanted to save the girl, thinking The Potter Wars was still on. Little did he know that Gawain was part of The Magics Department of The Royal Society Publishing in London and arrested him. Jane Westmuir arrived to the scene after having received Gawain's message about help needed. They took care of the rest, when the youngster and their mentor Mr Macbeth headed back to The Royal Society.
Later, Gawain had a discussion with Paulette Winslow in the Hospital Ward, after he had dropped of the boy who had interfered and had introduced himself as Nathan. Mr. Macbeth learned that Paulie's brother had worked in the society few years earlier and had been sent to The Isles due to he having committed a homicide. The girl found it odd: nothing had been told to them about the incident to the family and they had been unable to hear anything about him. Paulie promised to help Gawain, if he could find some more information about her brother.
