Prompt 8: Sin Eater

The Sin Eater is the most dangerous rank of sin hunter. Sin Eaters work free of authority and can pursue any case they deem worthy. Their freedom allows them to pursue the most dangerous of threats as they can operate off the radar. A sin eater can have a group of other sin hunters working under them and can even get civilian operatives to aid in their investigations.
Because of the power appointed to them their are few in active duty. Though if a threat is great enough the great shamans will appoint one with a singular goal. This allows them to take any actions they need to do to accomplish said goal.
Seen as the highest form of law enforcement in the beast clan alliance. They even have authority similar to the Inquisitors of the Empire. Allowing them to operate in the Territories of the Edge if they deem a threat is big enough for their investigations. While they may have to be careful in their actions so not to cause an incident, they are not questioned about the importance of their actions.

Qualifications

Ones loyalty to the great shamans. Ones desire to seek the sins of the world so they may smite them. Ones capable of forsaken themselves over the protection of others. Ones who truly understand the dangers of the forbidden and seeks to rid the world of their taint. Ones Capable of working in the shadows where the forbidden hides.

Requirements

To become a Sin Eater you must achieve a high rank as a sin hunter with many successful cases under your belt. Proper understanding of politics and understanding of how to work in the shadows. Successful exposure to forbidden magic without being tainted by it's allure. And proper knowledge on dealing with those who have been tainted by such magic, either with skill in killing them or containing them for questioning.
