Prompt 7: Kalnatu

The Kalnatu are a group of humans who desire to be one with nature. They were once a proud tribe of nomads who lived across the lands known as the edge. They found solace living among the spirits of the world. Learning their secrets and learning the way to a better life.
For a time they lived in peace, but when the first decedent war occurred their peacful life was broken. Like many human tribes or groups they were forced from their land out of fear of being consumed by the war the Volza raged. While many humans would seek protection from the Presari. The Kalnatu would instead seek protection from the spirits.
This is where they would learn the way to use magic similar to the presari and deminor. Though it came at a great risk of becoming afflicted with crystal blood. Only taking the serum when war was at their doorsteps. Outside of that they learned to work alongside beast who been touched by the spirits and even learned the spirit tongue.
During the second decedent war they Kalnatu decided to stay out of the way of the war. Choosing not to aid either side as both sides had connection to nature. It was only through the rising of the cult of the fallen that the Kalnatu decided to intervene.

Shared customary codes and values

That through bonding with nature one can find peace and understanding. Originally this was focused on the desire of living a simpler life. One devoid of technology and the remnants of the Lazari's curses.

Common Etiquette rules

They tend to be cordial to any who would enter territory protected by them. They will gladly help out those who are a friend to nature, but will cause harm to any who dare to cause harm to the natural order of things.
