Matherye Harcourt is one of the human nobles who run the city of Salire. She is in charge of the factories in the city and is key to producing the weaponry that the empire uses today. She has no problem putting kids to work in her factories if their little hands are needed. She also funds a good chunk of the orphanages in the city.

Matherye Harcourt is a mean woman who doesn't hesitate to do whatever will get her ahead. It is believed that she killed her own father to take over the family company. From then she did whatever it took to get ahead of the game. She even had plans to expand into the edge till the Cardia family stole her work from under her. She has vowed revenge and to do what it takes to regain what she feels is hers by blood right.
