White Stags
The white stags of legend are one of the most endangered animals in the world. Not to be confused with the natural occurrence of leucism in some species of deer causing their fur to be white, these animals are an entirely different supernatural species with their own magical properties. They are closely related to the unicorn and share many of their abilities. Over the centuries, these animals have been hunted for a variety of reasons and nearly went extinct in Europe.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
The following are the magical uses for these animals by body part.
Skin/hair/hide
The deerskins from these animals contain magical properties and can be used in a variety of ways, namely in fertility rituals. It is said that a child conceived on a white stagskin will never fall ill and will be lucky all their life.
Horn and Antlers
The antlers of these creatures have similar properties to that of the unicorn, but there is considerably more material given depending on the rack on the individual stag. It can be ground up into a very fine powder and used to purify any substance. This is one of the key reasons for its near-extinction as this powder was quite popular as cities began to emerge without the benefit of modern plumbing and the following cycle of cholera epidemics. The powder is also said to increase virility and was often used by male werewolf in an attempt to bolster their fertility in the hopes to conceive out of season. This powder, mixed with the blood, was also often given as a means to cure curses. The antlers have been used to create ceremonial knives used in purification rituals.
Bones
The bones could be used much the same way as the antlers, but the skull in particular was often enchanted to assist in divination and fortune-telling, using the stag's purity and connection to the spirit realm to communicate and even see the future.
Conservation Status
Currently the largest population of these magical ungulates is in the White Mountains Forest, thanks to a very concerted effort by the White Mountains Pack over the past few centuries and the Acadia pack over the past few decades.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
White, with some specimens reported to have an opalescent tint to the horns.
