Hivesprawl Infernum

This amalgamation of habitational, commercial and industrial districts organically emerged around Hive Infernum during its construction and only continued to grow afterwards. It originates from the countless labour camps and hab-units built to support the monumental construction effort of building the hive. Many districts are still modelled after their original purpose even as millennia have passed since the construction work has finished.

Infrastructure

Typically the newer industries have settled outside of the hive since the 32nd millennium, as it got increasingly more difficult and dangerous to get hold of property on the inside. Those enterprises converge towards the edges of the oceanic basins, facilitating the easy disposal of industrial waste into just them.
